Afternoon readers,
A quick wrap up for tonight - we saw HSI running high, as much as 2.05% early in the morning, whilst tapered off in the afternoon, finishing around 1.5% up.
This has slightly outperformed our expectation for the day, though the sector movements were closely in line to our expectation. One thing worth noticing was that Chinese Banks shrugged off the 50bps RRR hike on Friday afternoon, whilst commodity space shot up as per expectation with a rebound across the commodity field.
Looking ahead, there should be further upside cosolidation, but it should be noted that sluggish trade today do not bode well for gauging sentiments. Should remain to anticipate slower markets given holiday mood still persist.
ongy out.
